4 Week Beginner's Ikebana Course

In this Introductory 4-week floristry course in London, you will learn about the Japanese art of flower arranging called Ikebana. Ikebana dates back to the sixth century when Buddhist monks made floral offerings for altars.There is great importance on seasonality, minimalism, and thoughtful placement of stems that are in tune with nature.We will provide you with stunning, seasonal branches, stems, and flowers as well as an Ikebana container and kenzan. You will then be able to practice at home and perfect your technique and understanding.This class is taught by Nono - our Japanese Ikebana Master - and follows the curriculum of the Ohara School of Ikebana where she studied. Therefore if you wish to apply, you can obtain an official certificate offered by the Ohara School for an extra fee.Unwind, connect with nature, and enjoy learning something new.Class time is just an estimate and may vary - it is the maximum allowed time.
