Over ten 3-hour session, you will have plenty of time to focus, practice, and create in a relaxed and inspiring environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner eager to learn the fundamentals or a more experienced maker looking to refine your skills, this course provides the perfect balance of hands-on learning, inspiration, and personalised feedback to help you achieve your creative goals.Set in the FORGE workshop, you’ll be surrounded by an ever-changing display of inspirational jewellery from our monthly showcases, designed to spark new ideas and encourage your creative journey.Please note: Materials are not included and can be purchased as needed throughout the course. Your tutor will provide guidance on what materials to buy based on your projects.What will I make?You’ll design and create your own unique jewellery pieces, working on your own designs or from projects set by the tutor. Projects can include rings, pendants, earrings, or bracelets—tailored to your interests and skill level.What will happen during the course?Over the course of 10 weeks, you’ll explore a wide range of fundamental jewellery making techniques, gaining essential technical skills and growing in creative confidence. • Learn essential jewellery-making skills, including piercing, soldering, annealing, filing, texturing, roll-milling, forming, doming, and polishing.
• Gain confidence in using jewellery tools and equipment correctly.
• Work on personal designs, with your tutor offering suggestions to help refine your ideas.
• Develop both technical skills and an understanding of jewellery design, enabling you to create professional-quality pieces.
• Collaborate and share inspiration with a small group of like-minded participants in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
