This was my second time at the New Dawn Pottery studio, which has moved to a bigger studio since the last time. The studio is in a cool location and has a beautiful view of the canal! You can't help but feel creative there and Filipa has done a great job with it. This class was taught by Nina, who was also an amazing teacher. My class was a gift from family in New Zealand. A most enjoyable afternoon, the teacher was welcoming and knowledgable and the room light and airey. The teacher demonstrated clearly and was extremely well prepared and willing to help. I now understand the properties of resin and in a limited way, how to work with it.
I was very surprised to find drinks and snacks provided, the glass of prosecco made all the difference, as I was on my own it was something of an ice breaker!

I was bought the smartphone experience as a birthday present and didn't know what to expect. However the teacher Jack brought the whole thing to life for, he was very clear in his instruction and was never rushed. Jack was obviously very knowledgeable about his subject and made the afternoon an enjoyable experience.
The thing I liked most was that no assumption was made about prior knowledge, this helped me a great deal in the learning process.

My husband bought this class as a Christmas present for me and we both thoroughly enjoyed the event and the delicious food. Jan was very careful to explain the preparation of the first two courses so we were able to replicate them and then eat them! The kitchen was well equipped and ideal to both demonstrate techniques and for class members to prepare them, with the added bonus of someone to wash up for us.
