Expand your creative horizons with this five-week mixed media art course in South Croydon at The Hive Design Studio. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this programme is designed to help you build confidence as you experiment, play, and discover your own unique visual style.During these supportive sessions, you'll get hands-on with a variety of materials and learn how to layer textures and colours to bring your ideas to life. Your expert tutor will guide you through several versatile mediums, ensuring you feel at ease as you explore new ways to express yourself. Each week offers a fresh challenge to inspire you, all within a friendly atmosphere that makes learning feel like a breeze.Throughout the course, you'll work with:

Two friends who met at the school gates to their sons's primary school and bonded over inset days and coffee. We open The Hive in July 2024. From different worlds, Felicity has a background in craft and spent the last 17 years designing and developing the Christmas bear for Harrods, Jo has spent her career in hospitality and events, making things happen! We have come together to create a Sanctuary in Sanderstead. We both grew up here in Sanderstead, so know how special this community is. We wanted to open somewhere for people to enjoy, relax and create in an ever busy world. We snapped up the opportunity to open a studio in a converted bus shelter! Join us for one of our many workshops, craft, connect, create.We also like to venture outside our little studio and get on the road! If you have a request for a workshop in a venue of your choosing then please give us a shout. We have facilitated workshops for corporate away days and charity team days and would love to help your team days be a memorable event!
