Whether it’s a loved one, a pet, a self‑portrait or a family member, pixel mosaics transform simple images into striking, graphic artworks that feel both modern and handmade.
No experience is needed. With over 25 years of mosaic expertise, your friendly tutor will guide you through every step in a relaxed and inspiring studio.
What to expect
  • Send your chosen photograph one week before the workshop so it can be prepared and scaled for you.
  • Work at A3 size with a beautiful border, creating a bold pixel‑style portrait that’s instantly eye‑catching.
  • Learn how to translate your image into a pixel mosaic, choosing colours and building your design tile by tile on a grid. Very therapeutic!
  • Finish your artwork in a single day, wrapped and ready to take home.
This workshop is designed for all ages and all abilities – from complete beginners to confident makers. Families, friends, teens, adults… everyone can enjoy the playful, meditative process of building an image from pixel tiles.
