Hello, My name is Ikra. I am the founder and owner of Sparkle It Up Cards and Gifts. I run a small local business making handmade cards and gifts and provide services and host arts and crafts workshops. How Sparkle It Up came about is I was always passionate at a young age, working in retail making gifts and hampers for customers in my job role. I enjoyed making bouquets and hampers for relatives and events and decided to turn my hobby into a business. I love teaching arts and crafts to children and adults as it’s very therapeutic; it’s my way of de-stressing and having me time. I am very passionate about what I do, make, and the services I provide. I enjoy working with members of the public and bringing happiness and joy through my creativity, sharing it with others. :) I have 1.5/2 years of experience within my business and have hosted arts and crafts workshops at events with my stalls, at school workshops, and hosted arts and crafts workshops at youth centres too. I was always into expressive arts and fine arts in school and received a qualification for it. I have hosted mini workshops in Walthamstow Primary Academy School, The Event Souk alongside my stall too, and AMYC (Al Misbaah Youth Centre). I would like to expand my skills, knowledge, and experience and share with others my creativity and passion in arts and crafts. I aim to do more youth centre workshops, events, schools, and stalls, and I have registered with Kids Party Finder to host events and special occasions too.
