Velvet Fruit Ornament Making Class with Mulled Wine

This decoration will easily become your family heritage, as nothing is more precious than something done with your hands!This is my most unique and favorite class, unlike anything else offered in the UK! I’ve already hosted eight sessions, each one a fantastic success!You’ll learn the traditional Japanese Kimekomi technique and create one fruit decoration of your choice: a Pomegranate, Fig, an Orange or a Papaya (soon: Lime, Lemon). You’ll also have the option to purchase a material set to make Grapes at home, complete with my easy-to-follow video tutorial.We’ll begin with a short 5-minute introduction to the legends and origins of Kimekomi before you move on to choosing your pattern, colours, materials and decorative elements. All tools and supplies are provided, and every fruit will be carefully packaged in a gift box with care instructions and a little surprise inside.To make the evening even more festive, there will be mulled wine, tea & coffee, and light snacks.We’ll gather in a beautiful, stylish media room and enjoy a cosy Christmas movie in the background to get into the holiday spirit.
