Welcome to Vanilla Ink CIC. We're a passionate bunch of jewellers on a mission to change lives through our community outreach programme that intends to use making as a form of therapy. Come and learn from some of Scotland's best and do some good too!
We are an environment that focuses on educating, inspiring and empowering the jewellery community and beyond. Built on transparency, honesty, and building a welcoming environment, we believe everyone should have the chance to experience making.

I received a sea glass ring making class as a Christmas gift and spent a most enjoyable day engaged in this. Our tutor Sarah was very professional and knowledgeable and went out of her way to ensure that each participant got the best experience possible. She was particularly encouraging when I struggled with some of the processes and I left with my very own sea glass ring at the end of the day.

What a great way to sget end an afternoon. Loved learning how to make a silver ring. The teacher was excellent, the making of the ring was done in stages. There was plenty help on hand and the tools and equipment plentiful. I came away happy having accomplished a lovely wee ring. I also like the ethos of the school which uses some of the course money to teach people less fortunate and allow them to also have a the opportunity to have the same sense of achievement. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends/family. Many thanks for a brilliant afternoon. My cat loved the ring too

The teacher was lovely from the beginning, I arrived early and from the very start she was so nice and chatty. When the class started she was very informative but not in an overpowering way. I felt the pace of the class was perfect and enjoyed every bit of it, while my rings were being shined in the machine I even started looking at more classes I can do!

Amazing value for money. Had the best day learning some of the craft and walking away with a ring of our own unique design. We also had a brilliant teacher who was patient and supported our creative ideas every step of the way. We will definitely be back :)

The class was amazing - I came as a total beginner and left with a beautiful pendant! I appreciated how the teacher guided us through step by step, explaining different techniques and giving a demo before we had a go. We got to try out different tools throughout the process, and it was great to gain a little behind the scenes knowledge about jewelry making during the workshop. A great experience.
