About my teaching:

I absolutely love creativity in all forms! And it is a real passion of mine to encourage adults and children to get in touch with their hidden creative instincts. I have been teaching for many years, both individuals and groups. My main medium is mosaics, which rely heavily on texture.

About my Mosaics process:

Inspired by the sea and vivid colours, I create original mosaic artworks using a mix of things that I have found including sea glass, beach ceramics, vintage ceramics and reclaimed materials.

I love Japanese culture and often include the essence of Japan with vintage ceramics in my work freehand in an abstract style. Allowing the shape and form of each material to guide the design, resulting in textured, patterned pieces with a sense of movement. Every artwork is truly one-of-a-kind and can never be exactly repeated.

Alongside my own creations, I love sharing the joy of mosaics through my workshops, where you can learn to craft something beautiful in a relaxed and welcoming space. Chose from beautiful vintage ceramics and a huge array of coloured mosaic tiles. You will be spoilt with a fabulous lunch and afternoon tea.
