I began life as a Londoner with a passion for what art can do — not just as decoration, but as a tool for wellbeing, connection and self-expression. Over the years I came to realise that many people feel daunted by “doing art” (thinking you have to be naturally gifted) or are locked out of creative opportunities altogether. I wanted to change that.In 2019 I teamed up with fellow artist Alan Davies and together we built Cockney Green from the ground up: designing our mobile graffiti boards, sourcing high-quality materials, finding inspiring venues in London (including legal graffiti tunnels and art spaces) and developing workshops that bring colour, fun and confidence to everyone, regardless of age or ability. We launched birthday parties, school sessions, holiday camps, team-building experiences and community murals — all rooted in the belief that “all art is healing”. Cockney Green+1Since then we’ve painted windows for seasonal displays, delivered mindful-art and print-making classes, and teamed up with organisations to bring creative wellbeing to new audiences. Our philosophy is simple: creativity is for everyone, it opens doors, connects people, and when you leave one of our sessions you don’t just take home a piece of art — you take home a boost in confidence, a shared memory, and a bit of your own bold mark on the world.Whether you’re looking for a joyful one-off workshop or a deeper creative journey, I’ll be there with spray-cans, stencils, hot-presses for t-shirts and tote bags, lots of colour and, most importantly, a belief that you can create something brilliant.
