We learned so many delicious recipes and helpful tips, but even better was the sense of cooking and eating with new friends - we just felt so welcome and at home despite having just met our fellow class members and teachers and that is a testament to their down-to-earth, genuine warmth and generosity. We loved that we got to cook something, pause to eat it and then carry on cooking - we thought this was a lovely touch and avoided any hangry moments! The class ended in a communal meal eating the dishes we had cooked and lots of conversation alongside. A very memorable and wonderful day we'll be thinking of for years to come!
