In this silver jewellery-making class in Wallingford, South Oxfordshire, you will have the opportunity to create your very own one-of-a-kind seaglass or scrap pottery pendant necklace.
During the workshop, you will learn how to select a piece of glass or pottery to use for your necklace. You'll then wrap it in recycled fine silver, resulting in a truly unique piece to take home with you at the end of the class.
  • Learn the basics of silversmithing techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering, shaping the silver over your chosen stone, and polishing.
  • Your tutor will provide guidance every step of the way, ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment for beginners.
  • No prior experience is required - this class is designed for those who are new to silversmithing and jewellery making.
Working with these materials and techniques may seem daunting at first, but the experience will leave you feeling inspired and accomplished. Embrace the creative process and enjoy the satisfaction of bringing your vision to life.
By the end of the class, you will not only have experienced working with silver but also have a beautiful piece of jewellery to showcase - a pendant necklace that reflects your personal style and creativity.

Your own seaglass or pottery pendant necklace and a choice of sterling silver chain.
If you don’t have your own seaglass or pottery to work with, you can choose from my own collection.
