We are Alice and John, The Paint Club creators. Painting, creating and adventuring are our passions. We genuinely love the work we do.
We met at university in 2006… Alice studied design and John fine art. We have been together through a lot and make a pretty good team. We have both worked for large corporates, start-ups and independent businesses, so we have a breadth of experience to utilise. We ran our first class in February 2016 with a group of friends in a local pub. It was a great success and The Paint Club was born.
We love being outside and travel as a family when we can. A lot of our paintings are inspired by places we have been. Now we also have a talented team of artists in various locations across England and Wales. All have a unique style and have helped us grow The Paint Club to what it is today.

Really enjoyed my class today! The materials provided were excellent and I learned that even basic shapes can be turned into something beautiful. The teacher was very good at clearly explaining each step of the process, and as someone who was told that doing GCSE art “wouldn’t be a good idea”, I created something I’m really pleased with!

We had an amazing class for a group of 20.
Alison was brilliant at showing us all what to do, and how to make all of our paintings personal to us.
She was extremely patient with us all
We all loved the class.

Super fun and very relaxing class to do with friends. Annie was a very friendly and chilled teacher who inspired us to get creative and have fun with it!

Molly was brilliant, she gave our group such a warm and friendly welcome. We had time to have a chat beforehand and she gave time to get to know the group and interests. Molly was so encouraging throughout the whole class and shared her knowledge and talent with us in a way that in any way intimidating, but instead we all felt at ease and had such a great time.
Many of us hadn’t painted since school, and for most, this didn't appear to conjure such great memories, but to revisit painting and creating art in such a friendly and inclusive space was lovely.

it was an incredible experience. Victoria was patient, attentive, and provided helpful feedback throughout the class. She has a deep understanding of the techniques and skills required to create beautiful artworks, and she is adept at conveying this knowledge to her students. I was impressed with the level of detail she provided in her instructions, which helped me improve my painting skills. Overall, I highly recommend Victoria as a painting teacher for anyone looking to learn and improve their art skills.
