What you'll do

Join us for an exciting pottery class in Brighton where you will learn how to hand build a funky plant pot.

In this 2-hour workshop, you will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating your very own pottery piece. Don't worry if you're a complete beginner – this class is designed for all levels and our friendly instructor will ensure that you feel supported throughout the session.

During the workshop, you'll get to experiment with clay, mould and shape it into your desired design. We will provide you with all the materials you need, plus a mini plant, you just need to purchase your food/drink from the bar.

Using air dried clay means that you can take your finished piece home with you on the same day – no need for kiln firing! This allows you to proudly display your creation or gift it to someone special without any delay. You'll be amazed at how satisfying it is to create something beautiful with your own hands.

This pottery class in Brighton isn't just about creating a pottery piece; it's an experience that encourages personal expression and taps into your creativity. You'll leave the workshop feeling inspired and uplifted.
We will share examples with you, however if you have an idea for a design to add to your plant pot, please bring pictures with you.

Please note:
The event will begin at 7pm, please arrive 15 minutes before to order food/drink from the bar.
We will provide all equipment. However we do suggest wearing something you don't mind getting clay on.

Please bring a tupperware with you to put your pot in at the end of the session if you will be travelling back home in the car or on public transport. The clay takes about 24 hours to fully dry. We will have some boxes available.
The venue has a great selection of drinks available to purchase on site.

Please note no food or drink is included in the price of the ticket.

We are Alice and John, The Paint Club creators. Painting, creating and adventuring are our passions. We genuinely love the work we do.

We met at university in 2006… Alice studied design and John fine art. We have been together through a lot and make a pretty good team. We have both worked for large corporates, start-ups and independent businesses, so we have a breadth of experience to utilise. We ran our first class in February 2016 with a group of friends in a local pub. It was a great success and The Paint Club was born.

We love being outside and travel as a family when we can. A lot of our paintings are inspired by places we have been. Now we also have a talented team of artists in various locations across England and Wales. All have a unique style and have helped us grow The Paint Club to what it is today.
