The Art Loft CIC

The Art Loft is a welcoming creative studio in the heart of Putney, London, where we believe art should be accessible, inspiring and, above all, enjoyable.I'm Elcin, the founder of The Art Loft. My journey in art and design began with a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in New York, followed by an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art in London. Alongside my career as a designer and creative professional, I've always believed in the importance of making space for creativity in everyday life.I founded The Art Loft to create a place where people of all ages and abilities could explore their creativity, learn new skills and enjoy the process of making something with their own hands.Today, our studio brings together a talented team of practising artists and experienced educators who share that passion. We offer a wide range of creative experiences, from drawing, painting and mixed-media workshops to ceramic painting evenings, seasonal activities and special themed events. What makes The Art Loft special is our relaxed, friendly approach. Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or rediscovering a long-lost creative passion, we want you to feel comfortable, encouraged and inspired. Our adult workshops are as much about the experience as they are about the artwork. We love bringing people together for creative evenings filled with conversation, discovery and, sometimes, delicious food and drinks! There's something wonderful about watching someone arrive convinced they aren't artistic and leave proudly holding something they've created themselves. That's what makes teaching and sharing creativity so rewarding for us.Whether you're joining us on your own, bringing a friend, planning a date night or celebrating a special occasion, we'd love to welcome you to The Art Loft Putney.
