2 x 2 hours

Class size 1 to 6 (public dates), 1 to 8
£100 (PayPal Pay in 3 available)

In this live online workshop, we will explore the creative world of still-life photography. Photography can become highly technical very quickly, but it doesn't need to be. You'll learn how to create engaging still-life images using simple equipment and everyday objects. The workshop combines short presentations and demonstrations with practical exercises, allowing you to put new ideas into practice straight away.
Delivered over two sessions, the workshop gives you time to experiment with techniques and ideas between classes. You'll be encouraged to complete a small number of creative tasks during and between sessions, helping you develop your work, reflect on what you've learned, and return with questions and images for discussion. Although delivered online, the workshop is informal and interactive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share your work, and learn from others throughout.
To get the most from the workshop, please gather the suggested props and materials in advance. Suitable for all experience levels, this workshop welcomes photographers using a smartphone, compact camera, mirrorless camera, or DSLR. The workshop is also available on alternative dates and times; get in touch for a date that suits you.

I’m Kevin an Urban Photographer
My photography spans several disciplines, all united by a common thread: the urban and built environment.
I create portraits of people within these dynamic spaces because I believe the environment tells a deeper story about the individual—one that a studio setting often cannot capture.
In addition to photographing people, I extend the art of portraiture to buildings and objects, highlighting their character and connection to the urban landscape.
I gained my teaching experience as a technician at the RCA, and I’m currently a visiting lecturer at both UAL and the RCA.
