In this introspective collage workshop, you'll learn how to visually represent different perspectives of yourself through creative self-expression. Throughout the session, you'll develop personal insights while creating a series of three interconnected collages exploring your identity.
This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous artistic experience. The intuitive collage process creates a pathway to self-discovery – perfect for anyone seeking greater self-awareness.
During the workshop, you'll begin with guided reflection on key questions about perception: How do you see yourself? How do close friends and loved ones see you? How might strangers perceive you? You'll then create three soul collages using magazine clippings, photographs, textures, and symbolic imagery to represent these different viewpoints: Self-Perception, Friends & Relationships, and Strangers' Perspective. The open, relaxed, and judgement-free atmosphere encourages authentic self-exploration through visual expression.
By the end of this thought-provoking workshop, you'll have created three interconnected collages that provide insight into how your identity shifts across different relationships and social contexts. The experience concludes with an optional sharing session and a grounding relaxation exercise, leaving you with fresh perspectives on yourself and your connections with others.

I'm Mina, and I run Garanto Art Club to guide people like you to (re) connect with their creative side. I genuinely believe that everyone is creative, but more often than not, that muscle doesn't get trained as often or properly, and tends to be completely forgotten. With a wide range of workshops around London, Garanto Art Club aims to build a creative community for people to keep coming back to, where we will explore your unique creative voice and boost your self-esteem.
Mina (AKA Guillermina F) is an abstract artist from Argentina who has lived in London for the last 6 years. Her production is made mainly through experimental printmaking and mixed media. She has been in the educational arena for over 10 years at different levels, delivering classes in University, hosting Workshops and running several artistic studios. She has ran creative sessions for children, teenagers and adults alike, tailoring each one to meet particular needs, create a fun environment and teaching new techniques.
