- 3/5 from Jemma John, attended Apr 2026: We had a great time and everyone was lovely, but I was disappointed in the lack of instructions. For £35 I expected an actual class rather than just being provided with the tools to do whatever we wanted! The instructor did come round a few times to check on us but we were expecting a step-by-step class as stated in the description.

Myself and one of my friends got a mimosa but when my other friend arrived she wasn’t offered her drink. The instructors were lovely but i was expecting more of an actual class. I thought we would be taught how to make things. We were kind of left on our own really. More help was given to the big table booking. Even the basics like scoring and using slip etc wasn’t mentioned to us. Maybe having a leaflet or guides on how to make basic things like mugs or bowls, or even just a top tips sheet would have been helpful. Or perhaps a theme of what we’d be making, where we’re shown how to make the basic shape or item, and then left to decorate might have been good. There was loads of things available to use like different cutters, stamps, tools etc which was great. It just didn’t really feel like a class.
