What you'll do
All materials included. Drinks are not included.The workshop is held in the beautiful setting of an art gallery. In this creative workshop, you'll learn how to create beautiful mandala designs using the dotting technique. Choose the object to paint between a mug, a notebook or a plant pot. This hands-on activity welcomes participants of all skill levels, requiring no previous artistic experience. The dotting technique is easy to learn and accessible to everyone – focusing on pattern and repetition rather than complex drawing skills.During the workshop, you'll work in the unique Firepit studio space with guidance from Jenny (the founder of Jenny Art and Yoga). The session begins with practising the technique on paper before moving on to decorating the object. Painting mandalas is a relaxing practice that helps you stay present in the moment, offering both creative satisfaction and mindfulness benefits. All materials for the workshop are provided, allowing you to focus entirely on the creative process.By the end of this enjoyable evening, you'll have created a beautiful mandala-decorated object. The workshop takes place in the Firepit Art Gallery, a unique space featuring a gallery of beautiful art, artist studios, and a community event space.

I'm Jenny, founder of Jenny Art and Yoga, and I run creative art workshops for individuals and teams who want to slow down, disconnect from their screens, and make something with their hands.My workshops are built around mandala dotting art, a technique that uses repetitive patterns and colour to create beautiful, intricate designs on objects like mugs, notebooks, and plant pots. No artistic experience is needed. The process is simple to pick up, deeply absorbing, and genuinely fun.During a difficult period in my life, I found myself turning to this practice, and I discovered how powerful it is to focus completely on something creative for an hour. It shifts your headspace in a way that very little else does.I now work with corporate teams, co-working spaces, and organisations who want a hands-on, sociable activity that also gives people a real chance to switch off.
