Your teacher
Hi! I've been sewing, cooking, and crafting for decades. I just love being creative and teaching others to do the same, so much so that I qualified as a textiles and food teacher over 15 years ago and have been teaching ever since. I'm also qualified in couture hand sewing techniques, bridal wear, pattern cutting, and soft furnishings. My embroidery kit business, Nelly Makes, was born through my love for embroidery. Embroidery, to me, is my time to unwind and recenter, and I figured other people could do with having the same experience. Since opening the business, my work has been featured in Cosmopolitan magazine, Homestyle magazine, Buzzfeed, Kirstie's Handmade Christmas, and also Love Embroidery Magazine. I've taught more crafting and cooking classes than I can remember, so you're in good hands with me!
