I have taken my granddaughter to previous workshops and attended a few myself at different stores. I was disappointed this time for a few reasons:
- the workshop had already started when we arrived (we were not late), the welcome was not great, the staff member didn’t even check who we were.
- I didn’t feel the staff member knew the product, the instructions were poor and she didn’t explain to my granddaughter what she was making and it wasn’t clear to us until finished - she’s 3 years old. At one point she just gave my daughter the instruction manual!
- the staff member kept looking at her watch and telling us another group were coming in making us feel rushed; she also told some of the children not to take too
many of the beads for their decoration as she needed them for the next group!
This has definitely put me off attending further workshops at the Orpington store.

I cannot review as our class was cancelled as there was no one to run the class due to staff absence. However we were notified early in the day and the session was rescheduled to the following week.
