Fun evening painting the lighthouse as always. Claire has a very calm approach to teaching. This was my sixth time at a Brush Party so that should be a good enough review

Claire is great at explaining each section. We did the lavender and bee painting which I loved. The venue worked well and didn’t feel too cramped. Looking forward to doing another painting again soon.

Holly carefully explained everything she was doing and was very happy to answer questions. I occasionally get left behind as I’m watching what the teacher is doing but then don’t have time to carry it out before they’ve moved on. Very pleased with the outcome though. Thank you.

Teaching was excellent - pace was good with time to implement instructions and advice given if required. The venue was a little tricky to find and the room allocated felt small for the number of people attending. The tables felt cramped with very little elbow room and the plate with the paint and water cup were tucked behind the easel so not easily accessible. The extra plate that was used for mixing colours had to be hand-held as there was no room to put it down and that hand also had to hold the canvas to stop it moving away when pressure was exerted on it to apply the paint.

Really enjoyed painting this parrot. The teacher was good but a little quick to move on to the next phase. Having carefully explained how to do a particular section, I think it would have been helpful to wait for us to have a chance to put into practise what she had just shown us.

Really enjoyed painting turtley awesome. The only slight issue was that there was a lot of intricate detail to fit into three hours and I felt a tiny bit rushed.

Another lovely session - not the one I thought I was going to but more than happy with the watercolour painting that I ended up doing.

I really enjoyed my introduction to watercolour painting. I was lucky enough to have 1:1 teaching from Lauren who was very patient and encouraging and explained the process well. I would love to do one of the other watercolour workshops instore such as the floral and wildlife ones.
