Team Jess was absolutely AMAZING! Full of energy, encouragement and support for both beginners and more experienced painters (like myself). I’ve not laughed as much as last night but she also kept the class on schedule so we finished on time. She’ll be one of my favourite teachers ever and I wish we could filter on teacher and painting, instead of just by location.

Loved painting our Penguin. Cathy (?) may not have been teaching Events for long, but she was an absolute pro! Her, and the other lady, made sure to help with questions and to slow down and wait where needed.
The corner in the Off the Tap was quite public, but didn't feel like we were getting disturbed by other pub goers and we didn't have too many attendees to make it feel cramped

As always, Becky is an amazing teacher. Brilliant at simplifying the scary steps of painting an actual horses head with plenty of reassurance and feedback. I love the Zoom classes over the YouTube ones as it allows for midway guidance and support, and seeing all the finished paintings at the end is just an amazing feeling of accomplishment. Every class I attend, I pick up a new technique and my confidence grows in leaps and bounds!

So much fun! The class started a few minutes early so I missed the instructors name but it must be so hard to teach without any feedback from the painters. I sent a few messages in the chat during the class which were straight away picked up. Quite happy with my result (I’ve been doing brushparty a lot over the last years so am confident with most techniques) even though the ear is still on the large side. I might paint her again on a larger canvas as my brushes were a little too large for my 9x12” as after this great class (and the snap I took of the circle with clock markers and the super instructions) I know I can do it! Looking forward to the next painting!

Loads of fun! September did a great job explaining the how and why of mixing paint and shaping the brushes. I painted the watercolour version of this last summer so it was great comparing the different techniques

Becky is always a great teacher. It was a bit of a change, going back to acrylics so had to pause and dry my canvas a few times, which caused YouTube to crash but I managed to get back on.
I prefer zoom as it allows asking questions and showing progress a little better but YT is easier to pause.
Pleased with the result and very glad managed to paint this fox after being unable to make it to a venue!

I love Love LOVE Becky’s way of teaching! Happy to go over things again, gives constant useful feedback, not just ‘it looks great’ but also ‘maybe you could’ and she’s super encouraging.

So much fun again! Becky is an amazing teacher! With the layering of paint it takes a while for the blobs of colour on the paper to suddenly become poppies and she gives advice and encouragement along the way and I’m very happy with my end result, but also the techniques I’ve learned to use ‘in the wild’

It was great to finally do a class in venue again and this owl was so much fun! As always Kate explained the process step by step, reassuring, offering guidance, going over tricky bits again. Can’t wait for the next one!

Another great painting class! I learned a lot about wet in wet and layering to build up the wings colour. I’m feeling a lot more confident in my ability to paint thanks to great explaining and feedback. Can’t wait till the next class!

SO much fun! My first Zoom class and it was great seeing every bodies faces and paintings. Becky is amazing as always, not just praising but also giving tips on how to get even better. Love it and will do some more for sure!
As mentioned during the class, learning how to paint fur would be great, cats or dogs etc
