Holly was really personable and the time just flew. As someone who has never drawn before she left with me with lots of tips and techniques. When I first started the project I was disheartened that it looked rather rubbish, but as we progressed through the different stages it started taking shape. For a very first attempt I'm super pleased with how it turned out, so the workshop certainly hit the spot.

As a complete beginner to watercolours, this was a really nice intro to some key concepts like colour mixing. Very nice to have the details of a project I can attempt myself in my own time, but that Emma showed the techniques for.
