I’m Ellie, a ceramicist based at the Manchester Ceramics Collective in Old Trafford and also work in the Interior Design Industry. I have been working with clay for nearly 7 years and now run workshops that combine my knowledge in interior design and with clay.
However, I aim to offer workshops that are more than just ceramics. Following an extremely difficult year where I lost someone incredibly special to me to mental health, I’ve had an overwhelming desire to do something that makes a difference.
Mental health is becoming more prominent than it ever has before, with an overwhelming amount of life pressures. At Sculpt and Sip, I aim to create a peaceful, mindful environment where people can come, connect, relax and escape from the stresses of busy lives and focus on the task of creating (over a glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative!)
I still want to be able to give something back and fulfil that desire to do something to help. That’s why a percentage of all profits from Sculpt and Sip workshops go directly to Mind charity to help others who may need support through a difficult time.

Was after something different to do on a saturday with my BFF (and we’d been looking for pots to paint for a long while!) and this did NOT disappoint! Such a lovely afternoon thank you so much!

It was incredible and the atmosphere was incredible. There was such a wide variety of things that you could paint, so many colours available, I was impressed. Such a lovely place to get creative and let your imagination run wild. It was so therapeutic and honestly worth all the money spent on it. What an awesome experience

Organised this for a date night with my boyfriend and it was so fun! Super relaxed evening, with plenty of support from Ellie and Emily! We were both complete beginners, and it was very easy to pick up and paint. Highly recommend for a night of fun creativity!

I bought a pottery painting workshop with Sculpt & Sip as a present for my friend who is pregnant and it was the perfect way to spend some quality time together at the end of a busy week: a very mindful activity, which allowed us to catch up and be creative together. The venue was great (See Saw) and instructions very easy to follow. Loved the atmosphere, would highly recommend and attend again! Can’t wait to see my plate
