  • 5/5 from Ian Walker, attended Aug 2026: Maria is an absolute inspiration! Scintillating and fascinating artist with a wonderfully youthful active mind and a passionate enthusiasm, who gives such a comprehensive and detailed introduction and explanation of resin art. The resin and curing agent were mixed after we had selected a choice of mica colourants, which were added and blended individually in respective proportions of resin (one for each of the colours this time), giving us all the 'finished' ingredients ready for the pouring processes into the moulds. Seeing the colours work harmoniously and in contrast was such a brilliant initial experience with this artform, and knowing that would continue through the curing process added intrigue before we could collect the finished pieces.. We were expertly guided and supported through all stages and continued to shape the colour interactions in the poured resin, before we finally left our work to cure. This was all in the first workshop and we learned that there are two further stages which can be explored at later dates. Maria has a magnificent studio and there's such a range of her artwork on different media displayed, moving through to incredibly creative and brilliant work for those fortunate enough to attend her workshops. Her acrylic artwork is exceptional too and more inspirational and beautiful pieces adorn her studio and stairways along the way. An enthralling, talented and gifted artist; Maria effortlessly imparts such a desire to learn and practice more resin art and go further into the world of fluid arts she enthralls and excels in. An absolute must for all interested, aspiring and creative artists at all levels of proficiency to experience and learn from. Not to be missed!

  • 5/5 from Donna Slaney, attended Oct 2024: Being very new to resin and knowing very little practically, I was unsure as to how we would get on with a class. However we immediately felt very welcome and at ease with Maria as she showed us absolutely everything we needed to know down to the last tiny detail! Safety measures, specific techniques and little hints and tips along the way with every element of teaching, was fantastic! We ended with mixing and pouring our own coaster sets, with full guidance and meticulous care. We cannot wait to see the final results and will definitely be returning to learn more from the fabulous fountain of knowledge Maria! Thankyou so much for a wonderful day of learning, it was a pleasure to meet you :-)

All my life I've been in the fashion industry and I had the privilege to work with the world's top designers including the likes of Versace, Dior, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Gianfranco Ferre and Valentino etc.
I always had an interest in art but never pursued it until one morning I woke up and told my husband that I was going to buy some materials to start Resin Art and Fluid Art and since then I have never stopped.
I am a self-taught abstract artist and I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do and not learned at school so I went on to study through practical experience learning through trial and error and self learning.
The creative process for me is one that is both automatic and emotional. The majority of my work is inspired by the unpredictability and expressiveness of this mediums, also the music I listen to, the beat, the lyrics, the emotions I feel from the music I am listening to whilst I am creating, which often resulting in mesmerising patterns and textures.
For me creating Resin Art or Fluid Art is like being on a roller coaster; ups and downs, highs and lows, twists and turns.
Resin Art and Fluid Art for me like life, is constant movement, constant change. The creation process is cathartic, allowing my emotions to spill out onto my work as a release.
