The host was very nice, knowledgeable, and a good teacher and those in the group who could draw made some really nice things. I am not creatively inclined and even i was able to make something i was happy with. Overall the activity was fun and accesible to all creative skill levels thanks to the great host! Would recommend!

There was plenty of time both to practise and to make 2 or 3 wooden art pieces. She demonstrated lots of techniques and tips, and I left feeling inspired to do more pyrography :)

Our teacher was very friendly and her demonstration and explanations of how to use the pyrography pen was clear and easy to follow. I learned how to draw with fire. I enjoyed the class so much I have booked another one.

I would highly recommend a class with Maika. She gave clear instructions, independence but on hand to provide help if needed.

We were a small group of 5 people and it was such a lovely calm Sunday evening activity with friends. It's also really nice to be able to grab some food in Brixton village pre or post workshop. All in all, a really lovely experience that I'd recommend to others.

Maika was fantastic and made this new skill for everyone there super easy to pick up and enjoy. Youll be surprised at what you can create and its great to see what everyone else has made at the end too. Really fun and enjoyable, youd be silly not to go.

I had already ordered a couple of personalised Christmas decorations last year, and I'm so glad to have given it a go myself this year. Maika explained the technique clearly, and checked in on us throughout. She also had some pictures for us to use as inspiration. It was great to have 3 items to take home with us! Overall, a really great workshop and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to be creative, try something different, and who wants to create a lovely personalised item for their home or for a friend or loved one.

She has a lovely style which is both casual and informative. We were given all the material we needed and we got to choose from some items (spoons, wooden shapes) to burn into. Maika also gave us some booklets with sketches in for inspiration. Overall the class was great and we would definitely recommend it!

Its such a great evening activity and Id suggest it to anyone who is looking for something slightly different and fun to do in the evenings and weekends. Loved it.

Maika is an excellent teacher and explained everything clearly. It was fantastic to be able to came home with my own decorated spoon, keyring and coaster.

Maika is lovely and was great at explaining how to use the tools and techniques. We were able to make quite a few different designs in the 2 hour time frame as you can pick it up quite quickly. The venue was great also, surrounded by the vibrant Brixton village atmosphere so food and drink were easily accessible and abundant for afterwards. Would 100% recommend.

Could go at my own pace which I really enjoyed, and for people who are more advanced they have the opportunity to do harder things as well. Maika was very lovely- chatted to us throughout and made sure we were all comfortable. The space was cute and cozy and there are lots of food places/bars around to go to after finishing!Overall a really lovely experience and would definitely recommend it for people of all art skill levels :)
