Sarah our teacher was super kind, helpful and patient so a huge thanks. It was a lovely small group so we got help when needed and had plenty of time and space to work in. Loved that we got to make 2 pieces to get glazed so it felt like fantastic value for money!

We got to play around with more pieces of clay and it felt very generous. The room was spacious and as it was an evening class it was very quiet so easy to focus and hear.

John was an excellent teacher, who demonstrated the techniques well and gave help and advice whilst we were making our own pottery. The class size was small, which enabled us to have a pottery wheel each, which was brilliant. The Buck’s Fizz and Rice Krispie cakes were very welcome too! A fun couple of hours.

John was lovely and happy to help us learn how to spin clay. The bucks fizz and treats were very cute and very much appreciated. I loved the fact it was a small class so everyone had a wheel and a chance to ask John for help. I will be checking out PSAD for more classes. THANK YOU

John was brilliant, very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend this class to beginners on the wheel!

I booked a 2 hour pottery class. We had to share a potters wheel 2/3 ways and spend the last half an hour washing up the wheels. Only 20 mins actual pottery time and too many class participants so no help available when making my pot. Wouldn’t bother again. It was expensive & not worth it.

Teacher's response

Thank you for your feedback, we really do value any feedback our students may have. Our Sip & Spin classes are designed for complete beginners as well as being a sociable event where we encourage students to help one another at the wheel. We have always received great feedback and some students have enjoyed these classes so much, that they have re-booked with other friends/family members. We also make sure that all of our students come away with at least one completed pot in this short class. This is then fired, finished and glazed to then be collected later.

Really fun intro to throwing on a pottery wheel, excited to get our cups/pots back from the kiln in a few weeks! Our teacher was lovely and so helpful, as well as having a great sense of humour. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who fancied giving pottery a go
