Join us for a wheel throwing class in London where you will delve into the wonderful world of pottery. In this hands-on workshop, suitable for beginners, you will learn the fundamental techniques of throwing on the potter’s wheel. Throughout the session, you will be guided through expert demonstrations and receive one-on-one teaching to help you create your own unique pieces to take home. Get ready to craft a bowl and cup as you explore various forms on the wheel in our welcoming and laid-back studio environment.
Don't worry if you're new to pottery, our experienced instructors will provide constant support and encouragement as you embark on this creative journey.
During the class, all tools and materials will be provided, including aprons to protect your clothes. You will work with quality clay and have access to everything you need to bring your pottery visions into reality. The tactile experience of working with clay combined with the focus required for wheel throwing can be incredibly therapeutic and satisfying.
By the end of the workshop, you will not only have learned how to create pottery on the wheel but will also have two unique pieces to show for it. So come along, unleash your creativity, and enjoy a fun day of learning and creating in our supportive studio environment.
What you'll get
Up to two completed pieces per person. This work will be glazed and fired for you and will be available to collect from the studio within 4-6 weeks. All pieces will be food safe for use.
