Private Team Building Terrarium Workshop

If you're planning a team-building event and want something a bit out of the ordinary, look no further than this terrarium making class in London! Whether you're an eco-conscious crew or just want to bring a bit of nature into the office, a terrarium making class might be just the activity you've been looking for.Terrariums are incredible self-sustaining ecosystems, they can last for years without needing any care at all.Our workshops begin with a 20-minute introduction on the history and science of terrariums, including their beginnings as an accidental victorian invention! Participants will learn how the terrarium creates it's own water cycle, and the types of plants and moss that can be used.We will run a quick demonstration, including advice on planting techniques and how to get to grips with our specialist terrarium tools. Then it's time for everyone to get stuck in and make their own! We're on hand throughout the workshop to offer planting help where needed and answer any questions along the way.The workshops finishes with a round-up of aftercare advice to keep the terrariums healthy, and each participant receives a care guide and bag for taking their terrariums home.Where do the workshops take place?We recommend that smaller workshops (up to 20 participants) take place in our Shop+Studio in Shoreditch where you'll be surrounded by beautiful terrariums and plants. Prefer a small workshop at a location of your choice? Let us know and we can discuss your options.For larger groups (15-60 participants) we can come to a location of your choice, be that a workplace or hired venue. We're happy to suggest some great venues across London if needed. We're able to run multiple workshops per day, and can also facilitate drop-in style sessions.If you have a bespoke event in mind just get touch with some details about your requirements and we'll plan the perfect workshop for you.Please note:

• For workshops held off-site at a venue of your choice, there is an additional cost of £100 to cover our travel, time, and parking costs.
• For off-site workshops we arrive 45 minutes before the start time to begin setting up. We'll bring everything along with us on the day, all we need from the venue are table and chairs.

• Terrarium plants, moss, gravel, compost, activated charcoal
• Glass vessel with cork
• Use of special terrarium tools during the workshop
• Bags and care guides
