Hands-On Plant Propagation Workshop

Ever wondered how to turn one plant into many? In this hands-on propagation workshop in London, you'll learn all the tricks of the trade, from sowing seeds and taking cuttings to dividing established plants. You'll leave with the confidence to go forth and propagate in your own garden or green space, nurturing new plants into life at home with very little expense and minimal impact on the wider environment.Across the session, you'll explore the techniques and care requirements for:

• Softwood and tip cuttings
• Leaf and leaf section cuttings
• Division and root cuttings
• Hardwood cuttings
• Growing a range of plants from seed

You'll also get to grips with the different growing media, plus the equipment and tools needed for successful propagation. Everything is hands-on, so you'll leave with real experience rather than just theory, ready to bring new life into your own space.Meet Alice (she/her)Alice grows vegetables, fruit and herbs in rooftop gardens across central London, supplying fine dining chefs. She also looks after spaces for wildlife, from a pollinator garden on an industrial estate to private back gardens and café courtyards. She previously taught the Level 2 Practical Horticulture Skills qualification at Walworth Garden, so she knows exactly how to help you get your hands dirty and your cuttings rooting.
