We were greeted with a glass of orange juice (they also offered a mimosa or prosecco) and then began the workshop. Our hosts Amy and Martin were great and you could tell they really had a passion for fragrance. We went for the 100ml so we got to choose 8 fragrance blends which was difficult, but I’m so pleased with my finished fragrance! It’s genuinely something I would smell in a shop and would go for. I highly recommend!

The session was well organised and the presenter great, and it was fascinating to learn about the different fragrance notes and how they work together to create a unique scent. I'm delighted with my signature perfume and think it smells fantastic. I would definitely recommend this experience to others and will be doing so. It was offered as a work perk, and I'm sure many of my colleagues would enjoy it just as much as I did.

Didn't know what to expect, but it was informative, Aimee explained how to build up your bespoke perfume and it didn't disappoint! Came home with a lovely fragrance we upgraded from the gold, so we took home one of the lovely atomisers, which I would recommend!

After a slight problem and the Perfume Studio needing to change the time of our booking due to a bereavement, everything worked out great. The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we all came away with our own creations which we all love. Aimee and Natalie were very attentive and helped to make sure we had a great time. Thank you!

We were provided a range of information about the different notes and were given plenty of time to create our own perfume. I would recommend the platinum experience, the applicator and perfume amount is great. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try a new interesting experience. I got this as a gift for my mum and she loved it!

However we believed the class was 2 hrs. It started a little late and finished before the hour. We chose our ingredients from the taster cards and they were made up by someone else. I was disapointed by this. I would have expected to be able to mix ourselves. I would also have expected more tuition and understanding around making perfumes. Maybe a bit of history. You know it was a nice time spent but sadly I expected something a bit more.

However, I had imagined we would be physically creating it- with the pipettes etc. So to not have that hands on experience is a shame. The room was also quite small considering what we were there for. Overall, it was a fun experience; hosts were lovely and informative and we enjoyed ourselves.

We also really enjoyed all of the descriptions of the scents and the advice on how to choose a scent for you. We got thr opportunity to smell many different bases, tops, and middles. We were offered prosecco, water, and orange juice. We were also given a notepad and were encouraged to write notes about each scent

My friends and I booked the session under the impression that we would be mixing our own fragrance however, it was all done for us instead. I understand wastage so a suggestion would be for the perfume maker to drop the oils into separate jars and allow the individual to create the final mix. Other than that, this was a great and informative session and the perfumes we created were amazing - the fact they can be reordered is a huge bonus!
• 3/5 from Chantelle, attended Jul 2024: I enjoyed the class as it was something new that I had never done before and have always been interested in learning about the different notes in perfumes/aftershaves. However it would have been better if we were allowed to partake in mixing the perfumes or at least trying a sample of the scent to see if we wanted to add more of one or the other notes that we had selected. It was disappointing to learn that on the day to upgrade to the next size bottle was more than it was when booking the class. I had hoped that because my friend didnt want to opt for the same bottle size as me that I would be able to pay the additional £10 to upgrade rather than £25 advised on the day. Lastly l noticed that the prices on the leaflets they used on the day were showing a cheaper price than what it was on the perfume class website and also on the ClassBento site. This was confusing. Overall I was happy with my scent, but would have changed it slightly given the option.

I am not happy that we was not able to make the perfume ourselves and also we should have been able to change or adjust our final scent after smelling the mix all together and not on individual swatches. Now I have a perfume mix that I do not like and it smells nothing like my original swatches. They sound do a similar concept to candle making workshop. I honestly feel like I just paid for the premises.

The venue was perfect - tea and coffee was available and bar drinks if we wanted. And the length of the class (2hrs) was spot on and we were all thrilled to be able to take away our very own personalised perfume vials. Thanks Team Bento
