What you'll do
Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of painting in Birmingham, where you will discover the art of painting while enjoying a traditional Indian thali.(A thali comprises of a large metal tray hosting 4-6 smaller metal bowls.Each bowl contains a different dish, from meat or vegetable/ curries and lentils to raita).In this workshop, you will learn how to paint using acrylic paints, exploring different techniques and textures.You will have the option to paint a mini canvas of the Indian inspired print pictured plus 3 beautiful hand fired clay diva's (candle holders) with step by step guidance from your host.

Since 2017, I’ve been running workshops in painting, pottery, and craft, helping people slow down, switch off from the everyday, and surprise themselves with what they can create. I make sure even complete beginners feel at ease, while giving just enough guidance to spark confidence without stifling creativity. Over the years, I’ve worked on council, National Lottery and Arts Council–funded community projects, as well as hosting creative team sessions for organisations like the BBC, Wesleyan, and The Mailbox.
