What you'll do
This South Croydon paint and sip is your invitation to create something beautiful whilst enjoying good drinks and good company. You'll spend the afternoon with a local artist guiding you step-by-step as you paint your own watercolour – no experience needed, just your willingness to have a go. Whether you're coming with friends, bringing a date, or treating yourself to an afternoon out, this is a low-pressure, feel-good workshop where the focus is on fun and connection as much as it is on painting.Here's what makes it work: you'll have all the materials you need, expert guidance to build your confidence, and a welcoming space where everyone – whether you've painted before or this is your first time – feels at home. The Prosecco or wine flows (soft drinks available too), there are delicious nibbles to keep your energy up, and the whole vibe is relaxed and joyful. You'll chat, you'll laugh, you'll paint, and somewhere in between you'll surprise yourself with what you've created.By the end of the session, you'll walk away with your very own one-of-a-kind watercolour – a keepsake from an afternoon well spent with people you care about (or just yourself, which counts too).Please note: over 18 only. Two friends who met at the school gates to their sons's primary school and bonded over inset days and coffee. We open The Hive in July 2024. From different worlds, Felicity has a background in craft and spent the last 17 years designing and developing the Christmas bear for Harrods, Jo has spent her career in hospitality and events, making things happen! We have come together to create a Sanctuary in Sanderstead. We both grew up here in Sanderstead, so know how special this community is. We wanted to open somewhere for people to enjoy, relax and create in an ever busy world. We snapped up the opportunity to open a studio in a converted bus shelter! Join us for one of our many workshops, craft, connect, create.We also like to venture outside our little studio and get on the road! If you have a request for a workshop in a venue of your choosing then please give us a shout. We have facilitated workshops for corporate away days and charity team days and would love to help your team days be a memorable event!
