Come along for a drop-in sewing class in Edinburgh! Ready to tackle that sewing project that has been sitting in your craft pile for months? Or maybe you've reached a challenging step in a pattern or need a little guidance on the next steps.
Perhaps you'd just like some like-minded company as you craft away! Whatever it is, you are extremely welcome. Each drop-in class will be different, depending on what you and others in the group bring to work on!
This class is a friendly, relaxed environment in which you'll be supported with your chosen project but also have the chance to pick up hints and tricks from what others are working on too.
Please note: this venue is accessed by stairs and has no lift.
What you'll get
  • Use of the studio space and equipment -- including a large cutting table, domestic sewing and overlocking machines, irons, an industrial sewing machine, and a huge variety of sewing tools.
  • Expert help and support with your project.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly -- if you'd like an introduction to the machines, add the option to arrive 30 minutes earlier!
What to bring
You are welcome to bring any project to work on: sewing, pattern drafting, upcycling, or alterations - or anything else textile/pattern related!
Add-on available for this class
  • Sewing machine induction (+30 mins before class) (£5)
You can add this when you book (optional).
