Join a Hobbycraft Colleague one-to-one and ask any questions you have about your Cricut machine! Stuck on a project? Need help with Design Space? Trying to get to grips with using a new material? Our craft expert will share tips and techniques tailored to you.

This is suitable for all Cricut users, providing the opportunity to get all the answers you need about your machine. Whether you’re crafting with a Maker, a Joy, Joy Xtra or an Explore machine, you’ll be able to get excellent insight for all kinds of projects. It’s a great way to get a feel for your new machine or learn about features you’re not as confident with yet.
During the booking process, you’ll have the opportunity to let your Hobbycraft Colleague know what you would like to focus on during the session. They’ll be able to prepare for a personalised workshop that answers all of your questions.
You’re sure to walk away a Cricut crafting pro, ready to start making your next big project!

Bring a friend: You can now use the £5 add-on feature at checkout to invite a friend along with you, whether you’re working on a project together or you’d simply prefer having some company during the session. Your friend can enjoy any demonstrations given, and they are free to ask questions, but they will not receive the same practical, direct one-to-one support as is offered to the lead participant.

Please note: If you would like to discuss the Foil Transfer Tool, Knife Blade, “Print Then Cut” feature, “Curved Text” feature or “Offset” we would recommend that you book on to one of our online one-to-one Cricut workshop sessions as we are currently unable to demonstrate these features in-store due to them being for the desktop version of Design Space only.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Keeping everyone safe

At Hobbycraft, we want our workshops to be enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. Some workshops are suitable for children, and where this is the case, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising their child at all times unless the workshop is clearly stated as suitable for independent attendance. Our colleagues and instructors are there to guide the activity and support a safe environment, and if any concerns about safety or wellbeing arise during a workshop, these should be raised with a member of staff straight away.

  • 4/5 from Beverly Howe, attended Apr 2025: Teacher pleasant and clearly knowledgable however her demonstration machine was a newer model than I have at home and her instruction was based on her machine. Perhaps it would have been better if I'd been asked to bring my own machine. As it is I'm still struggling.
  • 1/5 from Naomi Flynn, attended Mar 2025: The iPad kept freezing and therefore made it nearly impossible to learn anything off screen. We wanted to learn print to cut (card invitations) and the staff were unsure about this.
  • 5/5 from April Cromie, attended Feb 2025: This was my first 1st in person class had done a number of online classes. Would highly recommend doing the class in person, much more personable and as it is one to one plenty of opportunities for questions and help. My teacher was brilliant very informative and went above and beyond and took extra time out of the class to show me some tips I had enquired about. Can't recommend enough
  • 5/5 from Jill Ashenhurst, attended Jan 2025: Excellent workshop covering many aspects of the Cricut explore. Katrina was very clear and informative in her presentation
  • 5/5 from Orla McCor, attended Jan 2025: As my daughter is a big fan of Hobbycraft and all this artistic & creative & loves all kinds of stickers, I got her a Cricut machine for Christmas and booked her in for the one to one workshop and I was able to add myself on too, Katrina our teacher was absolutely amazing bless her she explained and demonstrated everything so perfectly for my daughter and myself that I will even be able to make use of the machine too, I loved that she showed us all the tools we can use in the app so we can make the most out of it, highly recommended and well worth the money for the workshop, my daughter who’s autistic was buzzing to get home and try it out herself, thank you so much

  • 4/5 from Hannah, attended Oct 2024: I really enjoyed my Cricut workshop. I was a complete beginner and everything was well explained. My teacher was lovely and answered any questions. Overall, a very informative and enjoyable workshop. The only thing I would change is i would appreciate it if you had a chance to have a play with the cricut at the end - perhaps 10 minutes so that you could create something small of your own? Maybe this isn't possible. Other than that it was very good. Thanks!
  • 5/5 from Claire Gunn, attended Aug 2024: Irene was excellent, patient and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend the 1-1 workshop for practical tips and advice which I found to be a better use of time than spending hours on YouTube. As a complete beginner I was taken through the process from start to finished product and I came away feeling much more confident in my goals.

  • 5/5 from Beverley McCallen, attended Apr 2023: Katrina was great. She helped me to understand how to do vinyl. I look forward to seeing her again for another lesson.
