Guided by an experienced artist, Kirsty Mcnay, you’ll learn how to layer torn paper, fabric, and mixed media to create your own dreamlike landscape under a glowing moon.

Explore techniques for blending colour, adding depth, and achieving a painterly effect with collage. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this session will help you unlock new creative possibilities in a fun and relaxed setting.

Come away with a one-of-a-kind artwork and the skills to continue your collage journey at home. No experience necessary—all materials provided, plus tea, coffee, and cake.

Two friends who met at the school gates to their sons's primary school and bonded over inset days and coffee. We open The Hive in July 2024. From different worlds, Felicity has a background in craft and spent the last 17 years designing and developing the Christmas bear for Harrods, Jo has spent her career in hospitality and events, making things happen! We have come together to create a Sanctuary in Sanderstead.

We both grew up here in Sanderstead, so know how special this community is. We wanted to open somewhere for people to enjoy, relax and create in an ever busy world. We snapped up the opportunity to open a studio in a converted bus shelter! Join us for one of our many workshops, craft, connect, create.

We also like to venture outside our little studio and get on the road! If you have a request for a workshop in a venue of your choosing then please give us a shout. We have facilitated workshops for corporate away days and charity team days and would love to help your team days be a memorable event!
