I’m Marisha, the founder and designer behind Marisha Mistry, a creative studio built on craftsmanship, colour, and giving beautiful fabrics a second life. My journey began in bespoke ethnic childrenswear, where my studio was always filled with vibrant textiles, trims and embroidery.
One day, my young nieces spent hours draping and styling my tailor’s mannequin, completely absorbed in the joy of creating something from scratch. That moment changed everything — it reminded me how naturally children (and adults!) connect with creativity when they’re given the right tools.
From that spark came Mashquin, my tabletop mannequin that encourages playful fashion design, storytelling, and mindful making. Since then, my brand has grown into two creative worlds: luxury handmade baubles, crafted from reclaimed fabrics, and hands-on workshops designed to help people slow down, explore colour, and reconnect with their imagination.
I believe creativity should feel joyful, accessible and grounding. In every workshop — whether it’s bauble-making or mindful Mashquin draping — my aim is to create a calm, inspiring space where anyone can experience the simple, soothing pleasure of making something with their hands.
All fabrics are carefully selected from reclaimed or pre-loved sources, and every session is rooted in sustainability, artistry and a genuine love for craft.
I’m excited to welcome you into my creative world and guide you through an experience that feels uplifting, unique and deeply personal.
