QUIRKY BIRD CERAMICS WORKSHOP
In this wonderful workshop you will learn how to design and construct a beautiful ceramic bird made with stoneware clay. It can be filled with detailed feathers in the wings and tail. I will demonstrate a variety of ways to add delicate textures and mark-making. This bird is perfect to display in your garden or inside your home.

Such an enjoyable experience! Marika is so lovely. We had a very warm welcome and felt relaxed from the outset. The working space at Marika’s home was ideal in her conservatory, proving excellent light and a quiet environment in which to craft (listening to festive music in the background added a fun touch at this time of year!) The quality and variety of crafting materials were great. Marika’s experience and suggestions on how we might like to use them was so helpful without feeling pressured to conform, only to bring out your own flair and designs!
My daughter and I can’t wait to see our finished pieces once they’ve been in the kiln. We have already decided that we will return for another class soon!

Marika was so lovely and welcoming, great at showing me how to do something I’ve never done before and a wonderful host.
The time went really quickly but it was really enjoyable and satisfying, can’t wait to see what it turns out like once it’s dried and been fired. Definitely recommend and I’ll definitely do another class, thank you
