Margherita Iacopini

Hi, I'm Margherita, the artist behind Miacopstudio. I'm a London-based painter and I've been painting for about five years, mostly semi-abstract landscapes in thick, textured acrylic. My work draws a lot on my Italian-Filipino background and the idea of belonging to more than one place.I started painting alongside a full-time job, so I know what it's like to pick up a brush with no formal training. That's really what my workshops are about. You don't need any experience; just turn up, relax and have a go. I'll take you through it step by step, from mixing colours to building up texture, and you'll leave with a finished acrylic painting to take home.My classes run in West London and are small and friendly, perfect for a night out with friends, a date or just some time for yourself.
