Macro (Little People) Photography Workshop

Create a miniature world and photograph it beautifully in this macro photography workshop in Glasgow. You'll start with a 20-30 minute session exploring the creative process – how to develop ideas, set up your camera for macro shooting, and craft compelling foregrounds and backdrops for your tiny scenes. Then the real magic happens as you spend the rest of the workshop building your own miniature worlds using an incredible collection of props and figurines.Your tutor is a specialist in this style of macro photography with over 25 years of experience, so you're in genuinely expert hands – and they're brilliantly welcoming to complete beginners. The workshop takes place in their home studio, a proper creative space with plenty of surface area to work on, excellent lighting throughout, and thousands of tiny figurines and props to play with.If you'd like to bring your own camera, tripod and zoom lens, that's wonderful – there's real value in setting up your own gear and having that hands-on learning experience. But if you'd prefer to travel light, that's absolutely fine too. Either way, you'll leave with exciting, portfolio-ready photographs and the spark of confidence to keep exploring this style.By the end of the session, you'll have created something entirely unique – miniature worlds brought to life through your lens.
