Discover the joy of painting flowers in a relaxed, loose watercolour style. This 2-hour watercolour painting workshop in London is perfect for anyone curious about exploring botanical watercolours without the pressure of perfection.
Never tried watercolour painting before? No worries! You're in the right place. Just bring your curiosity and love for nature — the focus is on exploration, play, and developing your own style, rather than creating precise, scientific illustrations.
Perfect for corporate events, team-building experiences, birthday parties, group bookings, and creative London experiences, this workshop offers a mindful and refreshing escape from the busy city. It’s a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a few peaceful hours of creativity and connection.
What to expect:
Learn the foundations of watercolour painting using natural materials and intuitive techniques
Paint a variety of subjects inspired by nature, including flowers, fruits, leaves, branches, and seasonal elements
Explore your creativity in a calm, supportive, and mindful environment
Add delicate accents to your pieces — including a touch of gold at the end
Create loose, expressive compositions such as small bouquets, single stems, and simple nature-inspired arrangements
Optional Add-On (Pre-Booking Only):
Participants can request a frame add-on in advance, allowing their favourite finished piece to be framed on the day and taken home ready to display. This is a perfect option for gifts, keepsakes, or turning the workshop into a more complete creative experience. Please note that frames must be requested prior to the workshop to ensure availability.
This workshop is designed as a relaxing, meditative experience, ideal for wellbeing sessions, corporate wellness programmes, creative team bonding, and private group celebrations in London.
By the end of the session, you'll have your own finished paintings to take home, along with new watercolour skills to continue your creative journey — all with a touch of gold to finish your piece beautifully.

I'm Maria, an artist and illustrator based in South East London. I’m inspired by the natural world, by my travels, and childhood memories. I’ve loved painting and drawing ever since I was a little girl growing up in Romania. I was lucky to have a mum who encouraged my early artistic efforts. She used to sell my handmade cards in her office, and I’d earn extra pocket money by taking my work to local craft fairs. Later on, I did my Masters in Art at the University of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca and then spent time studying in Italy before moving to London and working as a graphic designer. Today I specialise in watercolour, which is my favourite technique. I love bold colours and botanical illustration, anything that evokes happiness and healing.
