Learn the Secrets of Indian Restaurant Curry

Have a private class in your own home kitchen and master the art of how restaurants cook their curries!



3.5 hours Class size 1 to 4 guests

  £80 - £120 (£120 per guest when you book for 1 guest, £100/guest for 2 guests, £80/guest for 3+ guests)

To book this unique experience, pick a date and time that works for you and let me know how many people (up to 4). I’ll bring absolutely everything we need—ingredients & all equipment (portable cookers, aprons, and pans etc.). I’ll demonstrate the preparation ingredients step by step then show you how to make the final curries while you cook along at your own speed. There’s plenty of time for questions, and by the end, you’ll feel inspired & excited to make these dishes on your own.
The Menu - I will demonstrate the following:
  • Base Gravy (Curry Sauce)
  • How to Prepare Onions
  • Restaurant Spice Blend
  • Garam Masala
  • Masala Sauce
  • How to Prepare Vegetables & Chicken (message me if you have any specific requirements).
Once the preparation has been demonstrated you will cook several curries of your choice to an excellent standard & Learn how to present your food professionally!
You may notice I've set my travel distance to 20 miles around my address. I'm happy to travel further but additional travel costs will apply accordingly.

Cooking and my interest in food are literally my life! I recently placed 3rd in the UK Curry Chef of The Year 2024. I've been cooking for 25 years professionally. I cook at Harborne Food School. I'm also the proprietor of my own food business and former Tour Chef to Wiz Khalifa, ASAP Rocky, Chevvy Woods, Taylor Gang, Rozi Plain, Bloc Party and Paramore.
As well as cooking for music tours, I have won plenty of culinary awards, including silver medalist at the World Culinary Olympics 2017 representing England in the Indian category and also achieved 3rd place in the prestigious UK Curry Championships 2023. As a Foodie, I've travelled to over 65 countries and lived in Malaysia, China and Spain and have gathered a wide repertoire of dishes that I would love to share with you.
Apart from a few accolades already mentioned, I feel a great passion for food history, origins of ingredients, and regional staples not only across Asia, but the world over. I love to cook and share my knowledge, and often learn a lot from my students too.
