We are a Community Interest Company, which means we are a not-for-profit organisation where all of our generated income is given back to our community. This is in the form of buying food for our Community Food Store and the running of our Community Cafe, where we teach not only crafts but skills that take our community closer to the labour market. By supporting us at one of our craft workshops, you help to feed up to 50 families a week who are surviving on the minimum wage.

Our craft workshops range from Creative Clay, Paint a Pot, Art Classes, Decoupage, Foam Clay, Sublimation, and during the kids' holidays, we provide Family Craft Sessions where all the family can join in and have fun without clearing away the mess and the glitter.

In December 2025, we won the Community Category at the VCFS Heart of Doncaster Award evening. This is a very prestigious award as it is voted for by the community.

Although Krafty and Creative CIC is relatively new at just a year old, our sister organisation Mindful Activities Yorkshire CIC is much older. We started K&C as a pilot project in 2024, a true think-out-of-the-box moment for a community organisation to drop itself into a retail setting.
