Knit your team together using the feel-good science of yarn-based crafts. If you want a fun way to thank your team and bring them together, here it is! Something a bit different to help your staff bond and gain key soft skills.
Plus, everyone gets to keep a stylish piece of knitwear that they made themselves!
Our yarn colours are especially chosen to calm and enhance your mood to promote good mental health. Our needles are natural and made from fully sustainable bamboo; they have been chosen for the calming effect they have when in your hands.
With this beginner-friendly knit-i-nar, you'll be guided through the process of how to knit your own scarf by an expert. There'll be plenty of support as well as opportunities to ask questions.
During the knit-i-nar, you will learn how to:
  • Hold the knitting needles and yarn
  • Cast On and Cast Off
  • Knit, Purl, and how to use Garter stitch to create your beautiful scarf.
By the end of this knit-i-nar, you’ll have the skills you need to finish your charming handmade scarf. Plus, the stitches you will learn in this knit-i-nar and the knitting supplies in your DIY kit will give you the confidence and tools to start many more DIY projects! The knit-i-nars will give you and your team the opportunity to bond together and chat with colleagues whom you may not get the chance to speak to regularly in the office. Learning crafts fosters key skills such as patience, perseverance, and good communication, and it has been proven to promote good mental health, as well as being a great team-building exercise.
After your knit-i-nar concludes, we have knitting surgeries available via email, where if you or your team are stuck and need help, we will be on hand to assist you.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our knit-i-nars!
