Rather than hiding damage, the cracks are highlighted, celebrating imperfection through the philosophy of Wabi Sabi.In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the Quick (modern) Kintsugi method using modern accessible materials (Epoxy glue, metal powder, Epoxy putty). Our instructor Jurga starts the workshop with a brief introduction to the history and types of Kintsugi covering the differences between the western and estern understanding of beauty and philosophy of Wabi Sabi.Jurga will then guide you step-by-step, with attention to each attendee. At the end of the session, you will take the repaired piece home. Please do not bring personal items to repair during the session.
