What you'll do

Looking for fun things to do in Birmingham with your kids? Whether you're looking for kids birthday party ideas or just a fun activity to treat your little ones to, this princess themed pottery painting class is sure to put a smile on their faces!

Your friendly and talented host will arrive at your chosen venue ready to wow your little ones in full princess attire. After a twirl or two, it will then be time to get started as you and your gang of mini princesses and princes dig into a selection of paintbrushes and paints before getting started on decorating your very own ceramic castle.

Your little ones will be encouraged to unleash all their pottery painting ideas on their castle whilst learning new brushwork and painting techniques.

As the princess party draws to a close, your charming host will take away the groups' castles to be glazed and fired. After that, they'll be sent back to you – after all, a princess can't be without her castle!

Please note:
Finished pieces will normally be fired and glazed within two weeks but lead times can be up to three weeks during a busy period.

Popolo Ceramico is a ceramics business that specialises in personalised ceramics. The business was founded by Christina Taylor-Chisholm in 2010. Christina studied Art in Newcastle upon-Tyne and has always had a passion for ceramics. Following the birth of her first child, after a career in Project Management Christina decided she wanted a much better work/life balance so decided to leave her job and set up a ceramics business. Combining her love of art, ceramics, interior design, bright colours and her background in business, Popolo Ceramico was created.

After years of working in the Ouseburn pottery alongside some of the North East’s best ceramicists, Christina had perfected her trade and decided to launch her UK franchises.

“I loved working in a creative environment, meeting all of the new parents and babies, and having a coffee and chat with the group leaders. It never felt like work. I’d work really hard in busy periods which gave me the flexibility to take ALL of the school holidays off and spend time with the kids. I could never have done this with my old job and I wanted to offer other people the same opportunity.”
