45 mins Class size 2 to 6     label £10

Come along and enjoy the calming and relaxing effect while creating your masterpiece.

Pastel Nagomi art has its origin in Japan and the focus is not on making astonishing art but on the process of making. You'll be using soft powered pastels with some specialised tools and also your magic fingertips to blend the colours to make the art. The word “Nagomi” means harmony, calm and peace which hopes to bring calming and relaxing effects on the artist.

In a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment, you'll be guided through the workshop by artist Ruby who is a certified Pastel Nagomi Art Advanced Instructor, so you know you're in good hands. She'll show you the essential techniques of this mindful art practice, along with emphasising the calming benefits of exploring art and colour.

Designed to be accessible to adults of all ages and abilities, the class offers as much or as little guidance as you'd like, giving you the space to make the most of this unique art form. You'll leave the class feeling wonderfully relaxed, with a gorgeous piece of art to take home and display with pride.
