Hi, I’m Janine. My obsession with colour, texture, and the magic of paint started when I was little and continued through school and during my degree in Textile Design and Fine Art Printmaking.That passion launched me into an incredible career in the fashion and design world. For years, I worked as a fabric buyer and product manager, with iconic British houses and retailers like Vivienne Westwood, Zandra Rhodes, Reiss, and Whistles. Alongside this, I ran a successful handmade greeting card business, selling my own designs directly to stores like Selfridges, Liberty, Fenwicks, and John Lewis.I’ve also exhibited my own artwork across London, including at the Mall Galleries, RAF Museum, and the Business Design Centre.Now I bring art and design into the community. I realized that the absolute best part of painting isn't just finishing a piece—it’s the therapeutic, joyful, and meditative process of creating it. Watercolour is a beautiful, intuitive medium. It forces you to slow down, let go of perfectionism, and play with how water and paint interact on the page. Since 2016, I have shared this joy with students of all ages, groups, and backgrounds.I design my classes to be a peaceful escape from the daily grind. I will guide you step-by-step through the basics of colour mixing and brushwork, giving you the confidence to let your creativity flow. You don't need any prior experience—just an open mind.
