Never bound a book before? This hands-on bookbinding workshop in Tadcaster is the perfect place to start. You'll learn the stitching behind three different little books, from a classic folded pamphlet to a Japanese stab-bound notebook, and finish with a neat hardback case to keep one safe in. No experience is needed, and all tools and materials are provided, so you can simply turn up and get stitching.
There's a lovely variety of colours and materials to choose from, so you can make each book reflect your own style. You'll leave with something you'll be proud to show off, and you might just discover a new favourite pastime.
This is the first workshop in a series of three, but it's also a complete experience in its own right, so you're welcome to come along on its own.
